Description

This seminar introduces Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and Project Finance and their various facets such as Risk Analysis, Project Structuring and Valuation.

As a vehicle for the procurement and provision of services, various PPP structures are analyzed to understand which structures are appropriate under certain circumstances and how risks associated with such structures affect project documentation and financing.

Objectives

The purpose of this seminar is to introduce the participants to:

a. The design and structure of the underlying project documents;
b. The commercial, legal and regulatory mechanisms that mitigate such risks;
c. The influence of such risks on the financing plan and financing mix of such projects; and
d. The effect such risks have on the valuation of such projects.
